MTC Performance can now offer a complete DPF Removal (track day vehicle) service. This usually requires us to have your vehicle for a few hours, remove the exhaust and the particulate filter, re-programme your ECU and install DPF removal software.

DPF Removal Service Coventry (Track Day Vehicle)
To remove the DPF, we need to read the original software from your vehicle’s ECU. We use an interface to our dedicated laptop system and can remove all DPF structures in the software.
We can then programme the software to the ECU, remove the DPF from the vehicle and the temperature and pressure sensor removed from the exhaust (or we can leave it in if you want the vehicle to look like a stock arrangement/original).
Once this process has been undertaken the vehicle will no longer attempt regenerations, and no black smoke will appear, no DPF check light or engine management light will illuminate, and you will have noticeably better MPG!

Theres an option to wait in a nice waiting room equipped with a tv, coffee machine and a window that looks on to the ramps so you can see the work being carried out on your car. Took my car to MTC for a dpf & egr solution after it was running rough due to them being blocked/clogged. I initially decided to go to them for the first time after having read all the amazing reviews on their excellent customer service … More and high quality work.
And in all honesty the reviews don’t do them justice. Their customer service is next level. They are very, very accommodating. I had a lot of questions for Jack and Luke and they gave me a lot of time and answered all of them whilst reassuring me that I’m always welcome and that it’s their pleasure to help. Very genuine and honest, top guys!
I also went for an eco/hybrid map for a mix of added economy and performance and even though I haven’t driven that much yet I can already feel the car driving a lot smoother the gearbox shifting smoother and overall the car being a lot more powerful. The car is now faster and has more torque than I initially expected it to be and is really enjoyable to drive! Look forward to taking it on the motorway to experience great mpg.
They even advised me on what other things I should do to my car next after having asked for recommendations and they were really helpful and gave great advice.
They got the car booked in very quickly the same day and the work was carried out quicker than I expected!
All in all an amazing experience from start to finish and probably the best garage experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been to quite a a few lol.
Highly recommend to everyone for all car related things! Very knowledgeable guys!

Came here based on a recommendation from my garage Ive been with for 10* years and I've got to be honest he was spot on. Luke and his team are amazing. I was a bit on the fence at first, being a female I find people like to take the … More P*** they are very welcoming and just get the vibe no one's coming for your money lol. After years of egr problems and then major dpf problems and 3 dpf cleans with my Audi Q3 I was at my end. Despite only having one dpf wanting light that came on and went fairly quickly I knew something was wrong with my car. For the least year the white Smoke from my exhaust was getting increasingly bad to the point I'd pull off and leave the person behind me in a cloud of white Smoke. Absolutely embarrassing. Anyway on one of my daily meltdowns over my car I called Luke he told me to just bring it down. He was great!! These guys knowledge and experience is second to none.
I decided to have my dpf removed and my car was in and out by the next day. Even the garage it's self is immaculate.
When the job was done Luke did give me the heads up that I might get a bit of black smoke nothing major but it shouldn't last more than a few days. In all honesty I didn't even get that. My car drives like a dream and doesn't feel heavy and chuggish. No smoke at all. I'm so happy with the work done and cannot recommend this place enough!! -

Really good service from Luke and his team after having problems with VW Golf GTD rubbish on fuel.
